My favorite city in the world, Kyoto.

In Kyoto, [new and old], [now and then], [modern and tradition] live together perfectly.

If you go one street up from the main area, you will magically find a nice and quiet spot with no one around you. Kyoto has completly different faces depending on seasons. You see the world famous company next to the hundreds-year-old small company.

You will be excited with modern technology and yet you will find the very authentic Japanese tradition. Pop culture with minimalism. Trance music with traditional instruments. Robotics in tatami (straw mats) rooms.

That's what I like about Kyoto, where magic happens.
