Carpe diem

From Osaka to Berlin to Kyoto to Franeker. Wherever you are, never forget to enjoy the moment you live.

Yukari Couperus Yamamoto

I grew up in a small town in Osaka Japan. I studied in Kyoto, which is my favorite city in the world. I got a first job in Tokyo but it didn't last long. Tokyo was too busy for me. After that I worked at Patent Attorney's Office as a paralegal. I loved the job but I needed a bit more adventure. So I quit and flew to Australia.

After I came home, I moved back to Kyoto. I studied Japanese language to teach besides working as an advisor of an international study and enjoying life in Kyoto. In February 2017, I met my husband. We moved together in Berlin, which was just a beginning of the most unexpected adventure of my life. I learnt how to code and became an engineer.

Sometimes you need to let yourself go with the flow. You might find something you've never imagined! And enjoy the every single moment that the life gives you. At the end of the day, it all makes sense. Carpe diem.
